Since it is in your best interest to make money (I assume), you certainly should be smart enough to transform an HTML page to WORD. If not, you should learn. Here are the basics: It is very easy. You simply open the HTML document in word, then choose "file" -> "Save As..." then choose a new name with a Microsoft Word document extention. You can now forward that to you potential "fortune 100 company" and you have a better potential to make money. I hope this helps. :) Like I said (and I live by this) I don't have any interest in working for a company that needs my resume from me in "word" format. I'm not trying to be mean, that is a very simple criteria that I use to screen companies. In essense, what that is saying is this, "If this company that wants to hire me is so boneheaded that they can not view a web page, or print a web page, or transform a web page into word for their corporate file, then that company has not been able to do enough to impress me, thus I do not want to work there". My screening method really does work for me too. :) Being that I am an Engineer working building large scale, highly-available, dynamic web sites in PHP, I see no need to represent myself (or put myself in classes with others) that need to use file formats that require proprietary programs to create a resume. As an Engineer in the web field, I live and die by open standards and I can not afford to associate myself with Microsoft (even by using MS Word) because Microsoft is often against open standards in many ways and I do not believe in their un-ethical business practices. Good luck to you too! Sincerely, Jeremy Brand > -----Original Message----- > From: jeremy brand [mailto:jeremy@nirvani.net] > Sent: Wednesday, September 05, 2001 2:00 PM > To: Dawn M.
